Health literacy is the ability to obtain, process, and understand basic health information required to make appropriate health decisions and follow treatment instructions.
Many of the library's resources include information for patients. In a database like UpToDate, PubMed, or CINAHL, look for tabs that say "Patient Education", "Information for Patients", "Patient Resources" or something similar. You can also use "patient education" and related phrases as search terms.
