For analyzing your law, look for law review articles or scholarly journal articles in the databases appropriate for your topic, e.g. SocINDEX with Full Text for a topic about domestic violence. Before starting in-depth research on a legal policy topic, you may wish to consult some general works that will provide a topic overview. A few good background sources include:
