Instructions

There are two versions of EndNote. One is the desktop software which includes access to your library online. The other version is EndNote Basic, formerly EndNote Web.  It is free and you access it online only. There is no desktop software with EndNote Basic.

New to EndNote Basic:

  • 2GB of storage
  • 50,000 references can be stored along with 2GB of attachments
  • 20 popular bibliographic styles--previously 1 bibliographic style
  • Online search of 5 popular databases
  • Webpage reference capture

To start using EndNote Basic, you will need to sign up for an EndNote Basic free account.
