Resources for Journalism, Communication, and Media Studies

About This Page

This page is meant to guide you through library resources and services that can help you throughout your studies.

Starting your search

The type of information you need will help determine what resources you use.

  • Library SEARCH on the library home page is your starting point for general searches across books, databases and other library collections.
  • Individual databases are specific collections of content that can be searched: things like newspapers, film scripts, medical or business information, academic journals, etc. Choose a database that fits the subject area or content type that you're looking for.

Getting help

  • Contact a librarian for help on any part of your research, either by email, phone, chat, or by scheduling an appointment.
  • Research guides will help you get started finding information on a broad range of topics.
