The Melville Library is the main library on the West campus.
Tips:
- Enter the Main Stacks on the third floor of the library. From there, books of fiction/literature will be in the P call number range on the fourth floor.
- Check out the books at the third floor circulation desk or in the North Reading Room (NRR)
- Most books will be due back at the end of the semester (unless recalled). More details here.
- Don't see the book you want? Use Interlibrary Loan to get it.
- Circulating books anywhere in SBU Libraries can be delivered to other branches. Once you find a book in our catalog, sign in and click on "Request for Pickup." The book will be sent to your chosen location and an email will alert you when it's ready for pickup. Pickup locations are: NRR, Health Sciences Library, Southampton Library.
