PsycTESTS is a research database that provides access to (mostly unpublished) psychological tests, measures, scales, surveys, and other assessments as well as descriptive information about the test and its development and administration.
Released in September 2011, more than 70 percent of the records contain the actual test, either in full or part. APA has gathered these tests from a variety of sources:
- Directly from authors who wish others to use their tests in research.
- Peer reviewed journals for which APA has rights or permission to use.
- Books and handbooks.
- Dissertations.
- Websites.
