Book with one author

Last name, First name. Title of the book.  Place of Publication: Publisher, Year of publication. Print.

 

Print Scholary Journal Article

Last Name, First Name.  "Title of the Article." Journal Name volume.issue (Year): page #s. Print.

 

Online Scholarly Journal Article

Last name, First name.  "Title of the Article."  Journal Name  Volume.issue (Year):page #s.  Web. Day Month Year

The "date month year" at the end of the citation is the date you accessed the citation. 

(Note: If no page #s are used, indicate n. pag. where the page #s would go in the citation.)

 

An article in an online database (such as JSTOR, Project Muse, etc)

Last name, First name. "Title of the Article."  Title of Journal volume.issue (Year): page#s. Title of online database.  Web. Day Month Year.

The day month year indicates the date you accessed the online database.
