SBU researchers now have access to an institutional subscription to Covidence, a web-based platform designed to make conducting evidence synthesis projects more manageable. Most commonly used for systematic or scoping reviews, Covidence can support and streamline any sort of knowledge synthesis project. The platform allows you to do your citation screening, full-text review, risk of bias assessment, and data extraction all in one place. It also supports seamless remote collaboration with co-authors. The software’s user-friendly interface and features can reduce the time researchers spend on reviews.
Covidence is most commonly used in the medical fields, but it is increasingly relevant to work done in all disciplines that rely on evidence-based practice.
