Chen Haiwen, a photographer, lead a team of 14 Chinese photographers through some 190,000 km in roughly 554 counties and cities. They have taken 57,228 pictures of the 56 Chinese ethnic groups to create a book entitled, “Harmonious China: A Sketch of China’s 56 Ethnicities”. The team spent one year travelling all over China to complete the project. This is a brief online version. We also have the printed photo book "Harmonious China :features of China's 56 ethnic groups 和谐中华 : 中国56个民族剪影)" in Main Library Stacks - Permanent Reserve.
