About the Shut Down

During past U.S. government shutdowns (and the current one), certain government websites and databases may no longer be accessible.  Stony Brook University Libraries is dedicated to ensuring our research community has continued access to current and historical information from the Federal government. Current Stony Brook University students, faculty, and staff have off-campus access via the proxy to all Stony Brook University Libraries' databases; non-Stony Brook public patrons must visit the Library to use them.  Access to paper holdings are available.  For assistance in accessing materials, please contact a Reference Librarian via the Email Me, or contact the North Reading Room, Frank Melville Jr., Memorial Library N-1001, Telephone: 631.632.7148.
