BUS 447: Business Ethics: Internships/Entry Level Jobs

Finding Internships

Search for internships by town, state, or zip code. Try using intern or intership as search terms or look for an Internships link on the page.

Don't forget to check the Careers section on the website of companies that you are interested in. Many larger companies have Internships pages.

Job Interview Tips

If you are going on an interview and you are not longer at Stony Brook and don't have access to our business databases online, remember that our library is open to the public so you can come to campus and use them here.

Not near Stony Brook? See if there's a SUNY near you, call the library and see when/if they are open to the public. Your local public library will also have good resources for your job search. Stop by the reference desk and ask a librarian which resources they recommend for researching a company prior to an interview.

Another good tip - make sure that you have turned your cell phone off for the duration of the interview. This way the interview and the interviewer have your full attention.
