Blackboard offers comprehensive videos and playlists to help you get up and running in the system. These are good resources if you have never used the system or want to know how to perform a specific action like taking a test or submitting an assignment. See them all on YouTube.
Stony Brook's DoIT offers software downloads through SoftWeb. Students, faculty, and staff are able to download software for educational applications like EndNote and MATLAB and basic software like anti-virus protection. The site also has suggestions for setting up your computer and a link to Stony Brook's Apple discount page.
