SocINDEX with Full Text
1895-present. Sociology research encompassing all sub-disciplines and closely related areas of study. Contains fulltext for 428 "core" journals from 1908-present, and 163 "priority" journals. Abstracts for more than 845 "core" journals as far back as 1895. Also includes fulltext for more than 735 books and monographs, and fulltext for 6,785 conference papers.

Some Different Types of Databases

Reference Databases
Reference databases include collections of biographies, encyclopedia articles, dictionaries, anthologies, and other types of information that can be helpful when you want general background information on a topic.
Primary Source Databases
Primary sources include documents that can provide first-hand accounts of an event or historical period. These might include, but are not limited to, letters, diaries, interviews, government documents, case studies, or historic texts or objects.
News Databases
News databases are those that provide access to newspaper articles from a variety of places and time periods. One particularly useful news database is Nexis Uni, which includes access to over 10,000 news, business, and legal sources:
