Maps Are Territories: Science is an Atlas is a book by David Turnbull, with a contribution by Helen Watson with the Yolngu community at Yirrkala. David Turnbull analyses maps both as a metaphor for knowledge and also as a major means of knowledge representation in a wide array of cultures.
