Integrating Library Resources Into Blackboard
This guide will show you how to find, link to, and otherwise make use of the most appropriate library resources for your online teaching in Blackboard.
Blackboard is the learning management system (LMS) for Stony Brook University. As you design your online classes in Blackboard, you'll find that there are many ways to integrate the library and our academic resources at the course level.
Each Blackboard course includes a link in the sidebar to important library resources including research guides, databases, and chat help.
Adding Links to Blackboard
Within Blackboard, simply go to the Content Area where you want the link to appear. Click on Build Content and Web Link to add the URLs to the appropriate library resource.
