What does this status mean?

This is a list of some of the statuses you might find when you log into your ILLiad account.  If you have any questions about your ILL request, please contact the ILL department.

Awaiting Copyright Clearance
The article request must be reviewed to determine if any copyright fees need to be paid.

Awaiting Customer Contact
The request material has arrived and is being processed by ILL staff.  The patron has not yet been notified.

Awaiting Denied Renewal Processing
The lending library has refused to renew an item.  The item will be recalled from the patron.

Awaiting Document Delivery Processing
The document delivery request has been received and is awaiting processing by ILL staff.                           

Awaiting Request Processing
The ILL department has received the request.  ILL staff will begin the search for the requested material.

Awaiting Unfilled Processing
The request has been sent to potential lenders but it has not been filled. 

Bad Citation
The citation information provided was either incomplete or incorrect.  ILL staff will contact patron to obtain additional citation information.

Cancelled by Customer
The patron has cancelled the request.

Cancelled by ILL Staff
The request has been cancelled by ILL staff.  The patron will receive notification of the cancellation and the reason for the cancellation.

Checked out to Customer
The item has been checked out to the patron, who is responsible for the material until it has been checked back in. (See status Item Checked In.)

Delivered to Web
The request material has arrived and was delivered to the patron’s ILLiad account.  Log in to ILLiad and click on Electronically Delivered Articles to access.  This material can be viewed or downloaded using Adobe Acrobat.

Item Checked In
The material has been returned and checked in. 

Item Recalled
The lending library has recalled the material.  Customer must return it.

Item Returned
The material has been sent back to the lending library.

Request Finished
The request has been completed and the item has been returned to the lender.

Request in Processing
The request is being processed by ILL staff.

Request Sent
The request has been sent to potential lenders.  ILL staff are waiting for a response from lending libraries.

Submitted by Customer
The request has been submitted by a patron and is awaiting processing by ILL staff.
